Growing an International Network
Hainan Airlines Co., Ltd. is the leading business enterprise in the air transportation division of the HNA Group. It has a fleet comprised mainly of Boeing 737, Boeing 767, Airbus A330 and Airbus 340 which are utilized for passenger and cargo transportation. Since 1993, in addition to its main hub Haikou, Hainan Airlines has established 8 bases which are located in Beijing, Xi'an, Taiyuan, Urumqi, Guangzhou, Lanzhou, Dalian and Shenzhen, as well as an extensive network across China which connects to Asia, Europe, America, Oceania and Africa. Hainan Airlines has opened nearly 500 Chinese domestic and international routes flying to more than 90 cities and operates regular international,regional and charter flights. The flight network includes routes between Beijing and Berlin, Budapest, Brussels, Seattle, Novosibirsk, St.Petersburg, Moscow, Khartoum, Phuket, Cairo,Toronto, Zurich, Busan, Alma-Ata, Male and Okinawa, between Hangzhou and Sydney via Shenzhen, between Hangzhou and Phuket, between Beijing and Luanda via Dubai, between Shanghai and Brussels, between Taipei and Beijing, Xi'an, Dalian, Ningbo, Guangzhou and Haikou, between Urumqi and Astana, between Urumchi and Istanbul, between Sanya and Seoul, between Bangkok and Beijing, Haikou and Hangzhou, between Haikou and Taipei, flights between Dalian and Singapore via Hefei and many others.

Since the inception of Hainan Airlines 18 years ago, Hainan Airlines has continued to maintain an outstanding safety record thanks to its stringent internal safety programs.
Hainan Airlines was awarded with the Civil Aviation Administration of China's Golden Eagle Award and Golden Roc Award for airline safety . Additionally, in 2008 Hainan Airlines won CAAC's Two-Star Award for flight safety.

Hainan Airlines is ranked among the best airlines for its on-time performance and service quality, allowing Hainan Airlines to win the Passengers' Airline Choice Award for over 10 years in a row. In August 2008, Hainan Airlines received CCTV's 60 Years-60 Brands Award, which designated Hainan Airlines as the only airline in the civil aviation industry to have been so honored. In December 2009, SKYTRAX rated Hainan Airlines as the first four-star airline in mainland China, making it the highest rated airline in the country. SKYTRAX also named Hainan Airlines the Best Airline in China in the years 2008 and 2010. In January 2011, Hainan Airlines was esteemed the title of SKYTRAX 5-star rating, the highest possible rating achievable in the SKYTRAX evaluations.
